Republic of Ireland star Reid signed for Spurs on deadline day in January 2005 after the Londoners had spent most of the month trying to secure his services.
Having joined Tottenham with Michael Dawson from Nottingham Forest, Reid has not faired as well as his team mate. He played 13 games in his first few months at White Hart Lane and scored once, but found his progress in the 2005/06 season hampered by a serious knee injury in February. He played only fourteen times.
