Reid Rumour Refuses To Go

The Irish international has started just five league games this season, with Finnish youngster Teemu Tainio, former Leeds winger Aaron Lennon and England international Jermaine Jenas all making a greater impact in Martin Jol’s starting line-up.

Reid arrived at White Hart Lane as part of an £8m deal last January but could be allowed to leave the North London club.

Leeds are said to be monitoring the situation closely with a view to a loan move for the 23-year-old former Nottingham Forest star.

Reid was not part of the squad as Spurs defeated Wigan Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
