Reid: Players Up For It

It seems only tonsillitis victim Seth Johnson will be missing from the starting eleven today.

Salomon Olembe is likely to start in midfield while defender Ian Harte is also in line for a shock return after being linked with a loan move to the First Division with Nottingham Forest.

All the others will be given another chance to redeem themselves against Birmingham City this afternoon.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Post, Reid said:
"Sometimes you have got to give people a chance. We all make mistakes and although Monday night was one huge mistake as far as we were concerned, the players need the opportunity to rectify things.

"We all know these players have the ability to turn things around and now let's see if they can go out there and do the job right this time. I feel the players are up for it and I feel they are in the mood to give Birmingham a difficult game.

"The players know they let everybody down with that performance at Leicester. We cannot do anything about that now, but we can put in an improved effort against Birmingham and ensure that we bounce back."
