Reid: Could Be The Start Of Something

Reid was determined to assemble an attacking side at Leeds during the transfer window, adding flair and quality.

The arrival of wingers Jermaine Pennant and Lamine Sakho has given the side pace and United showed real signs of promise when they turned over Middlesbrough last weekend.

Reid said to the Yorkshire Evening Post: "I was disappointed with way we conceded at Boro, but we look very dangerous when we attack.

"The new signings have given us options and a bit more pace in the side.

"At this moment in time, when a game is stretched we're as good as anyone going forward because we've got pace.

"It was important that we got our first win, I think we'd forgotten how to win as a team and as a club. Hopefully that will change things around now and this will be the start of something."

Meanwhile, Leeds could lead the chase for Spanish international striker Dani, if Barcelona are successful in tearing up his contract. He no longer has a squad number but is refusing to leave the club.
