Reid & Viduka Uneasy Truce

The pair had two bust-ups, one at half-time during a friendly at Burnley and the other on the training ground at Thorp Arch.

But Reid and Viduka have since agreed an uneasy truce after realising they need each other. Viduka's coolly-taken late winner against Middlesbrough was his 50th Premiership goal in 104 appearances and Reid wants to hold on to him.

Viduka grabbed the headlines with his deft lob over compatriot Mark Schwarzer two minutes from time to earn Leeds their first win of the season, although until then he had been virtually anonymous.

Instead it was Reid's new signings Lamine Sakho, Zoumana Camara, and in particular England U-21 star Jermaine Pennant who had caught the eye.
