Nigel Miller from Durham will be the man responsible for taking charge of the first game of the season at Elland Road.
Miller refereed 34 games last season when he booked 76 players and showed six reds.
Miller has been in charge of Leeds recently when he took charge of the 0-0 draw at Newcastle United in a pre-season friendly last Wednesday.
