Radebe poised for return

Radebe looked set for a long spell on the sidelines after damaging his groin in United's Uefa Cup second-round second-leg victory over Hapoel Tel-Aviv last month, but after a speedy recovery should line-up in a strong reserves side which faces West Brom at Wakefield & Emley's Belle Vue ground.

"I have got to say that Lucas Radebe is an amazing person and I feel very proud to be involved with him," said United boss Terry Venables.

"This year we've had so many injuries, not that we've complained about them, but he has played when he's not been fit.

"Lucas always gives everything he's got and he's a true champion, he really is," added Venables.
