Radebe blasts latest Leeds showing

Many thought that United had turned the corner after their recent run of poor results with a win over Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the Uefa Cup last Thursday, but if anything the side played even worse against Everton on Sunday.

"It really hurts. It is embarrassing. I don't know what to say. We all feel really bad and very disappointed. It is up to us to put things right. We have to look at ourselves because it is not working. I can't put my finger on what is going wrong. The whole team has to work harder.

"We cannot afford to lose games like that. No disrespect to Everton, but I think we can do better. Our goalkeeper Paul Robinson had a busy afternoon and made some good saves. I just don't know what has happened to us.

"I am banging my head against a wall to explain how Wayne Rooney scored that goal. I thought I had him. I don't know how the ball went through.

"Give him credit for the goal. The way we played we didn't deserve anything. We didn't create many chances and looked disjointed. We were in a hurry to get a goal and you cannot play like that."
