The trouble flared up during the dying seconds of the game on April 28 after an Ipswich goal all but destroyed Leeds' hopes of avoiding the drop.

About 100 United fans moved towards the Ipswich fans hurling missiles and taunting them.

Such was the disruption players were ushered off the pitch for 30 minutes while order was restored.

Det Insp Phill (corr) Wright said: "We are appealing to anyone who may know who they are to let us know. You will not be asked to give evidence, we simply want to know who they are.

"If you see yourself in the poster, please contact your nearest police station immediately."
