Pennant Vital To Leeds - Dorigo

The Arsenal winger joined on an initial two month loan with the option for a further one month extension, but in an exclusive interview with Leedsunited.com, former Leeds midfield ace Dorigo believes it would be a massive blow if the 20-year-old was to return to Highbury at the end of that time.

After just two games Pennant has won rave reviews and Dorigo hopes Arsenal would be prepared to do a permanent deal.

"We have got to most definitely try and keep him here," said Tony.

"The problem that I have with that is that Arsene Wenger probably made a mistake with Matthew Upson by letting him go to Birmingham, where he's done extremely well and now they're struggling with centre-halves.

"Jermaine's vital to Leeds, he's here enjoying his football and has a great camaraderie with the fans too, so I really hope Leeds can get it sorted out and keep him."
