The game had been scheduled to be played on Tuesday, August 30, and it had been chosen by Sky Sports for live TV.
Tickets purchased for the original date will be valid for the re-arranged fixture when announced.
The postponement has been made because Crystal Palace have had defender Tony Popovic called up to the Australian squad for the International fixture on Saturday, September 3.
