David O'Leary has admitted that he made mistakes last season with the way he handled his squad and general approach.
It was a very pressurising season for the United boss especially with that court case and the demands that were put on him to win some silverware.
"I've made mistakes this season," said O'Leary.
"No manager is immune to dropping the odd clanger - even the great Sir Alex Ferguson would probably admit to that.
"I've not made too many in my short managerial career, but this past season has been a great education.
"You don't need too many seasons like that in your career but I've learned from the mistakes - and I know I've become a better manager for it. I'll come back a wiser man after the summer break."
