Bates said: "We planned this meeting long before Sunday. After the Histon game, Gary, Gwyn and Shaun came out. We analysed all parts of the club, all parts of the performance, the academy, and every player on the books.
"I'm not sure of some players' priorities and the manager is aware of some of the weaknesses and that will be rectified in January. There's certainly no panic. It was a very positive meeting."
