No Go Flo

Flo has not made a first-team appearance since scoring in the 3-2 defeat to West Brom on January 20, and his recovery from a fractured foot appears no closer to completion.

Wise had hoped to recall the former Chelsea striker towards the end of last month, but Flo was missing from the squad at Colchester on Monday and is not expected to play any part against Burnley at Elland Road tomorrow.

The 33-year-old has played only twice since his high-profile transfer to Leeds during the January window, and Wise admitted his former Stamford Bridge team-mate was "embarrassed" about his failure to contribute heavily to United's season.

Wise said in the YEP: "It's been a massive blow to us. He is a little embarrassed about picking up his money. I know Tore and that's the type of person he is. I see him every morning and he looks embarrassed, but these things happen in football.

"He's seen so many different people to try and get him right but you have to realise that he's been out for a long while so even if he was to come back, I don't think he'd be ready because of fitness."
