* are reporting that AC Milan are willing to accept offers for their Romanian full-back Cosmin Contra. Leeds have been following Contra since his impressive performances for Alaves in last seasons UEFA Cup. Contra is said to be unhappy with life in Italy.

* Tribal Football are also reporting that Jonathan Woodgate's new contract is said to include a 'sack clause' if the young defender ever steps out of line again. The Middlesbrough born centre-half has also been ordered to move closer to the Thorpe Arch training ground. He will sign the new £20,000 deal shortly.
