Newcastle are the latest club to be linked with a possible multi-million swoop for Leeds midfielder Lee Bowyer.
Arsenal and Liverpool continue to be heavily linked with the contract rebel who was recently transfer listed by the club but now Bobby Robson is believed to be considering a formal approach for his services.
Leeds claim that they have still received no approaches for him but hinted recently that they feel Bowyer has been tapped-up by another club.
