More Signings 'Unlikely' Says Owner

United have already sold Sam Byram to West Ham United and brought in Toumani Diagouraga from Brentford this month.

Steve Evans confirmed after the Diagouraga signing that he had made two written offers for players and said: "When the president comes out of his meetings he'll be active on that. There's another one we're waiting to hear back from, but we're actively pursuing another couple."

But comments made by Cellino suggest the club's transfer business may be complete for the current window.

"We are unlikely to make any signings before the transfer deadline on Monday," he told Sky Sports News HQ. "But we are committed to keeping our best players at the club."

Leeds have been linked with a loan move for Everton winger Aiden McGeady and there have been reports that Bournemouth want Lewis Cook.
