Milner Could Play Part

Peter Reid looks like keeping the same back four which earned the 2-1 win over Blackburn meaning Dominic Matteo remains at centre-back, Roque Junior is likely to be on the bench and Salomon Olembe will play on the left in place of the suspended Ian Harte.

Mark Viduka will be fit enough to play as will Jermaine Pennant, whose possible extension to his loan deal is likely to be settled on Monday.

Today's game is the start of a tough test for Leeds with Liverpool and Arsenal next in the League and Manchester United coming to Elland Road again in the Carling Cup.

"It is a massive game for us and I get the feeling the players will be up for it. They should need no motivation ahead of this game," Reid said in the Yorkshire Post. "We know we will have to be at our best to get a result and I fully expect our players to give me their best.

"This is not the kindest of months fixture-wise but we have got to face these teams at some time in the season. Nobody gave us much hope of achieving anything when we went down to Highbury last season but we came back with a 3-2 win, we know what we are capable of."
