Mills: Not Good Enough For Reid

The England full-back also revealed that he has not spoken to Reid since his switch to Teeside.

"I can't really imagine a scenario where I would go back to Leeds with Peter Reid still there," said Mills.

"He was quite happy to see me go out on loan to another Premiership club, so obviously he feels I'm not good enough for his team.

"I don't fit into his plans at all and I don't think that will change.

"I haven't spoken to Peter Reid and he hasn't spoken to me either but I'll wait to see if a Christmas card comes in the post.

"Leeds is not part of my career that I have consigned to the history books, you never know what will happen.

"There is a perfectly reasonable chance that I could end up at Leeds next year.

"But I want to play week-in, week-out. Football's my job, it's what I love doing. If it doesn't happen at Boro then hopefully there will be other opportunities."
