Midfield Pair In Reserve Action

The midfield pair are included in a bid to boost their match fitness, with neither having taken any part in the last three Leeds fixtures.

Gregan has been an unused substitute in the last three league games, whilst Einarsson has been serving a three match ban for his sending off against Blackburn in last month's Carling Cup game.

Otherwise, with the exception of Stephen Crainey and Simon Walton, it's another inexperienced reserve side that includes midfielder Robert Bayly and striker Jonathan Howson.

The reserves are still looking for their first home win of the season.

Meanwhile, City will have Mario Melchiot in their side as he takes another step back from injury. Melchiot will get another 90 minutes match action under his belt to move back into contention for a return to first-team action against Bolton next Monday.

Leeds: Smith, Madden, Crainey, Hird, Gregan, Walton, Gray, Einarsson, Smith, Howson, Bayly.
Subs: Hutton, Wilberforce, Camfield, Serrant, Ameobi.
