McCormack Set For Scotland Call-Up

The Glaswegian, who broke his scoring duck for the Whites in a stand-out display in the 1-0 home victory over Burnley in the club's last home game of the season and followed up with the winner in the 2-1 final-day success at QPR, is expected to be named in Craig Levein's squad for the Nations Cup double-header with Wales and the Republic of Ireland at the end of May.

McCormack, 24, has five international caps to his name and scored his only international goal in a World Cup qualifier with Iceland in April 2009.

But he is now poised for a return from the international wilderness - his last appearance for the Tartan Army came in the 3-0 defeat to Wales in November 2009.

Another hoping for a call-up will be Whites midfielder Robert Snodgrass, who made his international bow from the bench in the 3-0 Nations Cup victory over Northern Ireland at Dublin's Aviva Stadium in February.
