Hapoel took a major Premiership scalp in last season's competition when they defeated Chelsea, and midfielder Yossi Abuksis is confident that they can repeat the trick and gain a first-leg advatage ahead of the return in the neutral venue of Florence.
He said: "We are expecting a similar game to the two matches we played against Chelsea. We know we will have to give 110% - in discipline, in physical commitment and in teamwork - in order to come away with a decent result.
Ian Harte is expected to be recalled to the Leeds side.
