Macca: We've Got A Job Still To Do.

The Whites would have gone up to the Championship on Thursday had an arbitration panel deemed the Football League unjust in handing out their penalty at the start of the season.

However, the three-man arbitration panel upheld Leeds' punishment for breaking insolvency rules, meaning they have to gain promotion via the play-offs.

McAllister admitted he had not been optimistic of a productive tribunal decision.

McAllister said: "It would have been fantastic if we'd got 15 points back and we'd be sat here talking about the Championship next year. I always had a feeling in my gut that we wouldn't get any points. So no great disappointment. No show of emotion or being down in the dumps. We've got a job still to do. We're looking forward to it and we'll focus on the play-offs."

The first leg of Leeds's semi-final play-off will be at Elland Road on Monday, May 12.

The second leg will be staged on Thursday, May 15 if Leeds finish 5th or draw Nottingham Forest, or on Friday, May 16 if Leeds finish 6th or play either Carlisle United or Doncaster Rovers.

All of the potential semi-final dates will kick off at 7.45pm.
