Lubo Becomes Macca's First Major Signing Coup

Former Leeds boss Dennis Wise had been chasing the Slovakia international for a while and new boss Gary McAllister has finalised a three-and-a-half year deal for the 24-year-old centre-half.

Bolton bought defender Gary Cahill from Aston Villa today, leaving the way clear for Michalik to join United.

Michalik, who made eight appearances for Leeds while on loan last season, has made 13 appearances for Bolton during the current campaign.
