Little Too Far For Larry

Grayson was hoping that Little would assist him at Elland Road but, according to reports, the commute form his home in the Midlands would be too far for it to work.

Little parted company with Wrexham by 'mutual consent' on September 27, 2008 following an unsuccessful start to life in the Blue Square Premier after relegation.

Little admitted: "Simon has spoken to me, but having a young family means the location and the travelling involved isn't ideal for me. I'd have loved to work with Simon Grayson and I think he has the potential to become a great manager. But with the location of Leeds and my location, it would involve a 240-mile round trip every day, which just isn't ideal."
