United winger Eddie Lewis is off to the World Cup in Germany after the USA qualified for next year's finals with a 2-0 win over Mexico, virtually assuring them of finishing top of Group Two.

David Healy was in action as Northern Ireland got a morale boosting 2-0 win over Azerbaijan. It was their first competitive victory in four years and Healy played despite carrying a slight thigh injury, coming off in the second half, but he has been declared fit for the England match on Wednesday.

Gylfi Einarsson played the full 90 minutes for Iceland as they lost 3-1 to Group Eight leaders Croatia, picking up a caution for his troubles!
