Lennon Called Up For U-21s

Lennon, 18, who joined Spurs in the summer, is in the squad for the European Championship qualifiers against Austria and Poland.

He holds the record for the youngest player to appear in the Premiership following his league debut for Leeds in 2003 aged 16 years and 129 days.

Peter Taylor's team face Austria at Elland Road on Friday, and they complete their Group Six fixtures at Hillsborough four days later against Poland.

England are already guaranteed a play-off in November to reach next year's finals tournament, with the hosts to be decided when the line-up is known.
