Leeds Want Hart Back?

Amid speculation that Peter Reid's immediate future is being discussed at board level, Hart said today in the Nottingham Evening Post that he had "nothing to say" about the reports as he prepared his team for tonight's Division One clash with Preston.

Hart spent a period at Elland Road as academy director and was instrumental in the development of current stars such as Harry Kewell, Alan Smith, Jonathan Woodgate and Paul Robinson, to mention a few, before taking the same position at the City Ground in 1997.

He is also a former player at Elland Road of course.

Hart is almost half-way through his contract as Forest manager and is understood to have been fancied by some members of the Leeds board after Terry Venables was sacked before they opted for Reid.
