Leeds United confirm first transfer of 49ers Enterprises rebuild

Rebuilding at Leeds United under 49ers Enterprises has begun with the £7m addition of Ethan Ampadu from Chelsea.

The 22-year-old has agreed terms on a four-year deal at Elland Road and could make his debut in United colours on Saturday against Monaco.

The Wales international has generally played as a centre-back or defensive midfielder since graduating from Exeter City’s academy and going on to play for the Blues, RB Leipzig, Sheffield United, Venezia and Spezia.
