Leeds United Board Meeting Now Thursday

Club owner Massimo Cellino has called a board meeting at which he is aiming to lay down United’s strategy for the next 12 months amid continued uncertainty around Elland Road.

Leeds United have yet to confirm who their head coach will be for next season, with Steve Evans' contract expiring at the end of June, while Cellino recently said he is open to selling up.

It means Evans has another day to wait until potentially learning his fate, amid much talk that Cellino wants to bring in a new head coach for next season.

Leeds were also hit yesterday with an FA charge over breaching agents regulations concerning the sale of striker Ross McCormack to Fulham in 2014.

The club have offered to provide early season ticket purchasers with a partial refund if they do not at least make the playoffs next season, but Cellino is leaving it late to finalise plans ahead of the new season.
