On the last day of football at Arsenal's famous Highbury stadium, Newgrid beat Up The Arsenal 1-0 in the final of O2's big football event.

Earlier in the day they had overcame Hit and Hope Rovers 3-0 in the semis to set up a final with Up The Arsenal, who edged past FC Vatos Locos 1-0.

In total 10 teams won through to contest the five-a-side Final and play under the famous stands and clock at Highbury.

It was part of a big day, including the finals in the afternoon of the O2-FHM Cup for members of the public.

It helped raise £20k in total for O2's charity Weston Spirit, the charity co-founded by Falklands veteran Simon Weston to help young people reach their full potential.

Life Line Challenge is O2's 2006 fundraising programme in support of O2's flagship charity Weston Spirit (www.westonspirit.org.uk).
