Leeds Reject £2m Offer For Striker

The Yorkshire Evening Post report that the Whites have snubbed the interest of Norwich boss Nigel Worthington, after our opening day visitor's for the new Championship season followed up their initial approach with an official bid for the 26-year-old striker.

The offer would have been a healthy profit on the money invested in Hulse by Leeds 12 months ago, but Ken Bates turned down the offer following talks with Kevin Blackwell, who only returned to work yesterday.

The Canaries may be reluctant to stretch their bid beyond £2m. Sheffield United manager Neil Warnock also has an eye on Hulse as he prepares the Blades for their first season in the Premiership.
