Whitley and team mate Cyd Gray both impressed this summer in Germany and Leeds are reportedly in talks with Whitley while QPR and Gillingham are also interested in the midfielder.
Gray, who also plays with Whitley at San Juan Jabloteh, is being linked with Gillingham along with Swedish side IFK Gothenburg but Whiley is regarded as the best player in his homeland's domestic league, and it seems certain he will leave Jabloteh this summer.
Jabloteh boss Terry Fenwick, a former England international, confirmed both players are being looked at.
"I am getting a lot interest from UK clubs and we are in discussions over transfers for both players," Fenwick told socawarriorstt.com.
