The other games in August see Leeds come up against Crystal Palace and Norwich City, both relegated from the Premiership, plus Wolverhampton Wanderers.
On Boxing Day, Coventry City visit Elland Road and on New Year's Eve, Leeds have a juicy derby game against Hull City.
However, the first derby of the season will be at Hillsborough against Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday, September 13, whilst Sheffield United come to Leeds on Saturday, October 22.
The club will find out which fixtures have been selected by Sky Sports Tv for live broadcast and will be meeting with the police and licensing authorities to decide on any changes shortly.
