Leeds Could Move For Bennett

Kevin Blackwell has made an inquiry about the 33-year-old, who is down the pecking order at St Andrew's.

Bennett has just a year left on his contract and with the expected return of Nico Vaesen, who has verbally agreed a new two-year deal, his chances look even more limited.

Vaesen has made it known that he wants to challenge first choice Maik Taylor for the No 1 shirt next season.

Blues manager Steve Bruce would want a fee for Bennett, which could be a sticking point for Leeds.
