Leeds confirm signing of Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra

Leeds have confirmed the signing of Feyenoord winger Luis Sinisterra, who has signed a five-year deal with the club.

Sinisterra impressed during the Dutch side's Eredivisie campaign and run to the Europa Conference League final, where they were beaten by Jose Mourinho's Roma.

He is Leeds' latest signing, with the club completing a deal for USMNT ace Tyler Adams on Wednesday having already brought in Brenden Aaronson, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca and Darko Gyabi.

Sinisterra arrival further strengthens United's squad following Kalvin Phillips' move to Manchester City earlier this month.

He scored 23 goals and added 14 assists for Feyenoord last season and was named UEFA Europa Conference League Young Player of the Season in the competition's inaugural year.

The 23-year-old is seen as a potential replacement for Raphinha. The Brazilian has been linked with a move away from Elland Road this summer and 90min understands he is continuing to wait for Barcelona to agree a deal with Leeds.

Barça's financial mismanagement has made clubs around Europe wary of any potential dealings with them, but Leeds are aware of Raphinha's desire to move to Camp Nou and an agreement between the two teams isn't far away.
