The Iron were champions of League One in the 2006-07 season. The Whites will then host old boys John Sheridan and Tommy Wright's Oldham Athletic for their first home fixture of the season on Saturday, August 16.
Leeds' only derby clashes during the season are against West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town, who they are scheduled to play at Elland Road on November 15 and at the Galpharm Stadium on February 14.
Leeds will finish their campaign with the visit of Northampton Town on May 2.
