Koumas put the Premier League side in front just a minute before the interval, slotting home after good work from Emile Heskey.

Jermaine Beckford equalised ten minutes into the second half, but Koumas sealed victory with a deflected free-kick on 69 minutes.

Dennis Wise said: "I thought we put up a good fight. We've done okay performance-wise in pre-season. We're getting together and I'm pleased with them."
