Kilkenny Eyeing Promotion Charge

Kilkenny, who has retained his place in the Australia squad for Tuesday's friendly against Germanay in Monchengladbach, is unfazed by the growing expectation at Elland Road.

The 25-year-old, whose side lie fifth, six points adrift of second-placed Norwich, said: "I'm looking forward to the final eight games. We'll try and keep going and hopefully do well.

"Everyone was talking about staying up but expectations change, now people are talking about automatic promotion and the play-offs.

"We'll keep our feet on the ground and see where we go. We know we have a young, hungry squad and hopefully we can see out the job and get promoted."
