Kid's Pay Penalty Against Preston

After reaching the quarter-final stage in Ireland, they lost out in a penalty shoot out 4-1, at the Showgrounds in Ballymoney.

Iain Howard opened the scoring for the Deepdale outfit after 10 minutes before Kevin Smith scored from the penalty spot in the 2nd half,  after Jamie Anderson had been brought down in the area, to draw Leeds level. 1-1 after full time.

United's first two spot kicks were shut out by the excellent Preston keeper, Tom Upson, and his side kept their nerve to sail through to the semis and a meeting with Universidad Catolica Of Chile.

The Whites beat the same opposition in the semis on the way to winning the tournament last season. Sweet revenge for Preston.
