Jose, head of the Leeds United Independent Fans Association, said in the Yorkshire Evening Post: "Allan Leighton has a moral obligation to help financially because he is the only interested party who was on the board when we got into this mess.
"A lot of people have taken money out of the club for differing reasons, yet all along the buck stopped with Ridsdale.
"It's time a lot of the people who have taken money out of this club showed some support for the position we're in and did the honourable thing by assisting in our hour of need."
