Jones Condemns Leeds 'Minority'

"If they think what they sang was football banter they need to take a long look at themselves," said Jones.

A minority of the 600-strong travelling support chanted songs about a child abuse case from seven years ago.

The judge recorded a not guilty verdict and insisted that the case should never have reached a trial.

Jones hit back at the Leeds fans on Saturday with a hand gesture to suggest that they were heading for relegation.

"If people think that my gesture evens things up, well, again, they need to look at themselves," Jones told BBC Sport Wales. "I'd like to stress that Leeds are a fantastic club and that it's a minority of their fans who let them down.

"But we're trying to stamp out racial abuse, verbal abuse and everything else, so their behaviour should be looked at. It wasn't upsetting for me, but it was for my family, my kids and grandkids in the stand."
