The former Chelsea midfielder underwent scans this morning and the results will not be available until Monday. Should the results be positive, then the 24-year-old will formalise his switch, having signed personal terms on a two-year deal.
Morris will then be set to make his United debut against York City in next Wednesday's friendly at Bootham Crescent.
