Jamie Back From Loan Spell

The young Aussie has impressed during six appearances for The Spireites, scoring twice, but has had to return to Elland Road for treatment on a recurring ankle injury.

He scored two superb goals during his first month at the club, but has had an injury ravaged second month, making just one below par performance at Swindon Town.

He received an injection to deal with persistent swelling but he may need an operation, which would rule him out for the rest of the season.

However, if the injury clears up before the transfer deadline on March 25, then he may return to complete his loan deal.

Chesterfield manager Roy McFarland said: "We continue to monitor the situation because if there is any chance Jamie can play football again this season we know he would like to come back on loan with Chesterfield."
