Following the completion of a successful medical, Leeds United have announced the signing of Samuel Sáiz.

The 26 year-old has signed a four year contract at Elland Road and joins from Spanish Segunda División outfit SD Huesca for an undisclosed fee.

Born in Madrid, Sáiz came through the ranks at Real, going on to make appearances for their B and C teams.

Spells at UD Melilla, Getafe and UD Almería followed, before he was snapped up by Atlético Madrid in 2014.

Sáiz then moved initially on loan to Huesca, before that move was made permanent in 2016.

Last season he made 40 appearances, scoring 12 goals and provided eight assists, helping Huesca reach the Play-Offs.

He becomes the club’s eighth signing of the summer, following moves for Vurnon Anita, Caleb Ekuban, Madger Gomes, Pontus Jansson, Matuesz Klich, Hadi Sacko and Felix Wiedwald.
