In Bisceglie, Bari yesterday, Sean McCaffrey’s team built on their 0–0 result on Tuesday to outplay their more experienced rivals.

After a scoreless first-half, Celtic's Diarmuid O’Carroll scored in the 53rd minute and minutes later Ipswich's Billy Clarke added a second.

Substitute Shane Long of Cork City then hit a post with a diving header.

Ian Morris played 45 minutes before being subbed at half-time.
