Howson Gets England U21 Nod

Howson, 22, made his debut for the Under-21s when he stepped off the bench in a 1-0 defeat in Italy in February.

Six of Pearce's strong squad have all previously appeared for the England senior team - Andy Carroll, Danny Welbeck, Jack Wilshere, Jordan Henderson, Micah Richards and Kieran Gibbs.

The England Under-21 squad, who finished runners-up in 2009, head to Denmark on June 8 to continue their preparations for the two-week tournament.
