Leeds will host Blackburn at Elland Road during the week beginning September 19, a week after they are due to meet them in a league encounter, also at home.
Leeds are bidding to reach the fourth round of the League Cup for the first time since 2012 when Neil Warnock took the club to the last eight and a quarter-final defeat to Chelsea.
