Former Preston and West Brom midfielder Gregan, 30, threatened to quit after his family were verbally abused following last Saturday’s 2-0 home defeat by Leicester.
But Healy, who played alongside Gregan at Preston, said: "Sean is strong enough to cope. He is certainly no quitter."
