The former Whites left-back plays for Spanish side Levante and has had an impressive first season in La Liga but could not prevent his club being relegated last week.
The 27-year-old left-back has also won back his place in the Republic of Ireland squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
With a chance of playing in the World Cup next year, Harte may be tempted with a move back to the Premiership in order to further impress the Ireland manager Brian Kerr.
